Lisa Hays Biography
Lisa brings more than 25 years of experience in developing marketing strategy, product development, inventory management, competitive intelligence, and marketing research to her company, Fresh Perspective. She acquired her broad experience base through a number of positions at Stuart Hall Company, Hallmark Cards, and Payless ShoeSource. This breadth provided a strong background for founding Fresh Perspective in April of 1998.
She chose as Fresh Perspective’s focus helping clients make better business decisions by deepening their knowledge base specific to customers, markets and competitors. By doing so, Fresh Perspective is able to play a role in enhancing clients’ long-term success.
Lisa believes the best investment on Earth, is the Earth. Under her leadership Fresh Perspective strives to reduce consumption, make environmentally-friendly choices and personally model environmentally-friendly behavior. Fresh Perspective also offers targeted reports, consulting and coaching for companies seeking to become more sustainable.
With a BS in Marketing from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Lisa is a member of the Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) and the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce. Lisa has been featured in and has authored articles for the Kansas City Business Journal, the Kansas City Star, the Association for Corporate Growth, and the Business Marketers Association.
She has been featured as a speaker for several local groups, and was selected as a member of the GreenBiz Intelligence Panel. Lisa provides pro bono marketing support to Green Works, a Kansas City not-for-profit providing environmental education and workforce development for urban teens. Fresh Perspective is also a Green America Today business.
